Hillsborough County to Introduce New ID Card Program
In an effort to better serve its residents and improve access to government services, Hillsborough County officials have announced the launch of a new ID card program. The program, which will be available to all residents of Hillsborough County regardless of immigration status, aims to provide individuals with a secure form of identification that can be used to access a wide range of services and benefits.
The Hillsborough County ID card, which will be issued by the county’s office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, is designed to be a versatile form of identification that can be used for a variety of purposes. In addition to serving as a form of government-issued identification, the card can also be used to access services such as public transportation, library services, and recreational facilities.

The Hillsborough County ID card will be available to residents of all ages, including children, and will cost $25 for adults and $15 for minors. The card will be valid for a period of four years and can be renewed for an additional fee.
