    MVA Launches Online Replacement ID Card Service for Maryland Residents

    Once the online request has been submitted, residents will receive a confirmation email from the MVA with instructions on how to complete the replacement ID card process.     The MVA estimates that the entire online replacement ID card process will take approximately 7-10 business days from start to finish. Residents will have the option to have their replacement ID card mailed to them or pick it up in person at a designated MVA office.
